Although still rare, the WHO underlines that <span style=\"font-style: italic;\">\"the recent emergence of carbapenem resistant E. coli is of serious concern\" <\/span>. <\/span><\/h2>\r\n<h2 style=\"line-height: 1.5;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">As for <span style=\"font-style: italic;\">Klebisella <\/span>, the 2020 report found out that among the 29 countries of the EU\/EEA, about 30% had reported carbapenem-resistant bacteria, <span style=\"font-style: italic;\">Klebisella <\/span> in 25% of the cases.<\/span><\/h2><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"vce-row-container\" data-vce-boxed-width=\"true\"><div class=\"vce-row vce-row--col-gap-30 vce-row-equal-height vce-row-content--top\" id=\"el-6c4f37de\" data-vce-do-apply=\"all el-6c4f37de\"><div class=\"vce-row-content\" data-vce-element-content=\"true\"><div class=\"vce-col vce-col--md-auto vce-col--xs-1 vce-col--xs-last vce-col--xs-first vce-col--sm-last vce-col--sm-first vce-col--md-last vce-col--lg-last vce-col--xl-last vce-col--md-first vce-col--lg-first vce-col--xl-first\" id=\"el-1de99103\"><div class=\"vce-col-inner\" data-vce-do-apply=\"border margin background  el-1de99103\"><div class=\"vce-col-content\" data-vce-element-content=\"true\" data-vce-do-apply=\"padding el-1de99103\"><div class=\"vce-text-block\"><div class=\"vce-text-block-wrapper vce\" id=\"el-9033cd5f\" data-vce-do-apply=\"all el-9033cd5f\"><h2><span style=\"font-size: 30pt;\">KPC carbapenemase<\/span><\/h2><br>&nbsp;<br><h2 style=\"line-height: 1.5;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">The CDC finds that pathogens that produce KPC enzymes have a high capacity for dissemination and makes treatment of serious illness difficult, and prone to regional or international transmission. <\/span><\/h2><br><h2 style=\"line-height: 1.5;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">A report published in 2019,<span style=\"font-style: italic;\"> \"Evidence of an epidemic spread of KPC-producing Enterobacterales in Czech hospitals\"<\/span> illuminates just how dangerous these pathogens can be.<\/span><\/h2><br><h2 style=\"line-height: 1.5;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">During the period covered in that study, it was proven that KPC-producing pathogens have an important ability to epidemically contaminate hospitals. <\/span><\/h2><br><h2 style=\"line-height: 1.5;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">They found the pathogens to continuously prevalence growth, from sporadically appearances to epidemical risk.
